How can I change or cancel a booking?
Please notify us of your request for a change or cancellation in writing, preferably by emailing hotels@visit-hannover.com.
To ensure that any deadlines are met, we also recommend that you inform the service provider (please feel free to CC them).
Please also refer to Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions.
How much does the Accommodation Service cost?
Both the preparation of the offer (also for groups) and the reservation of your overnight stay are free of charge.
Can I book a hotel without a credit card?
Not all hotels require a credit card for reservations. You are welcome to send us your request by email or call us so that we can take this into account when providing our offers. In our online reservation system, you will find this information in the respective hotels’ booking terms and conditions.

In our online reservation system, you can sort hotels by their distance from 11 major attractions and landmarks. Just click on the "Distance" field.

Are there any private rooms available in Hannover?
We currently have over 400 private accommodations available. In addition to private rooms with a host—which come with various amenities—you can also book vacation rentals and apartments through us. Is there a bed tax, tourist tax, or cultural promotion tax in Hannover?
Following a resolution by the City Council, the state capital of Hannover, the city of Laatzen, and the city of Langenhagen have introduced a lodging tax.
