The tour starts at the Wennigser Mark hiking parking lot. From there, head into the forest, cross Georgsplatz, and follow Georgsweg uphill along the Forellenbach stream. On the ridge trail at Platz Stern, keep left and walk past the air traffic control facility to the Annaturm.
The concrete tower of the Annaturm is 30 meters high. A spiral staircase with 117 steps leads to the top of the tower, offering a unique panoramic view. The small restaurant at the base of the tower is the perfect place to take a break. The trail continues back along the ridge path, past Sternplatz, toward the Nienstedter Pass.
Walk across the Nienstedter Passstraße hiking parking lot and head a short distance along the pass road to the left. Now begins the climb to the Nordmannsturm, which also features a restaurant and is the perfect spot for a rest.
After visiting the Nordmannsturm, return the same way to the parking lot at the Nienstedter Pass. Walk a short distance up the Kammweg and, at the first major fork, turn left toward Georgsplatz and Wennigser Mark. At the edge of the forest, you’ll reach the Wennigser Mark hiking parking lot, where you began your tour.
