The Steinhuder bathing island covers 35,000 square meters; with its beautiful sandy beach, it’s popular with young and old alike, and features clean water, shallow shoreline areas, extensive sunbathing areas, and plenty of playground equipment for children. You’ll also get that beach vibe at the Mardorf bathing beach. Surrounded by pine and alder trees, there’s a children’s playground here as well. There is ample parking available right next to the beach.
