Culture is diversity

At the bauhof, located in the historic district of Hemmingen, cultural events take place in a beautifully restored former farmhouse. Under the motto “Culture is Diversity,” the cultural center has gained recognition beyond Hemmingen and, with approximately 35 events per year, makes a significant cultural contribution to the region.
Since November 2000, the bauhof has served as a venue for high-quality interdisciplinary, contemporary, and classical cultural events. Exciting encounters with artists and culture enthusiasts become a memorable experience in a very intimate atmosphere.

Events
The program offered by the sponsoring association bauhof e.V. Hemmingen includes:
Theater - Comedy - Variety shows - Cabaret - Visual arts exhibitions - Readings - Art excursions - Concerts - Matinees - Charity events - Participation in cultural events in the Region Hannover
Regular events include, for example, the pre-Christmas jazz brunch, as well as various collaborative events with organizations such as the Community Foundation and the Hemmingen Music School, along with other municipal institutions.
