Hemmingen

With an area of 31.5 square kilometers, Hemmingen is the smallest municipality in the Region Hannover. The Romans once set up camp here, south of Hannover. Today, around 19,000 people live in Hemmingen’s seven districts. The town maintains partnerships with Clydesdale in Scotland, Yvetot and Moulineaux in France, and Murowana Goslina in Poland.
