Hemmingen

With an area of 31.5 square kilometers, Hemmingen is the smallest municipality in the Hanover region—in terms of area. The Romans once set up their encampment here, south of Hanover. Today, approximately 19,000 people live in Hemmingen’s seven districts. The town maintains sister-city relationships with Clydesdale in Scotland, Yvetot and Moulineaux in France, and Murowana Goslina in Poland. Learn more at www.stadthemmingen.de
