Lido

A quick dip in the "South Sea" at the weekend? No problem, say the people of Hemmingen, who have given their lido this nickname. A vacation feeling is guaranteed while lazing on the beautiful sandy beach or on the extensive lawns.

Sandburg, Schach, and the beach bar are all on the same wavelength, so to speak. That South Seas vibe sets in quickly in the summer, because after a swim, the lakeside garden beckons with cool drinks, the lawns are perfect for lounging, and the seesaw and rocking horse are just waiting to be played on. Here, the little ones have plenty of space to play and run around, while those in need of some peace and quiet can find pure relaxation.

As the bar is also open in winter, the lido is even a year-round destination. However, swimming is only for the hardy.
