With the SkyLoop, Lake Steinhuder Meer has gained an extraordinary recreational attraction. The approximately 40-meter-high adventure and observation structure in Mardorf combines impressive views with active experiences and expands the range of tourist attractions on the northern shore of Lake Steinhuder Meer.
Scenic Views Meet Adventure
Visitors can reach the observation deck either by climbing about 250 steps or by taking the elevator. The observation deck is accessible and open to everyone. From the top, visitors can enjoy a sweeping view of the Lake Steinhuder Meer and the surrounding countryside. The attractions also include a slide, a zip line, various climbing and adventure elements, and the Giant Swing for anyone looking for a special thrill. As such, the SkyLoop appeals to families, school groups, other groups, day visitors, and adventure enthusiasts alike.
A New Eye-Catcher on the North Shore
The SkyLoop also makes a statement architecturally. An elaborately designed greenery feature—incorporating vertical garden elements, trellises, and flower boxes—harmoniously integrates the striking steel structure into the landscape, making the SkyLoop a new landmark on the northern shore of Lake Steinhuder Meer.
Admission to the observation deck is 9 euros for adults and 6 euros for children. Additional attractions such as the slide, zipline, base jump, giant swing, or Skytrail can be booked separately. Tickets and detailed information are available here.
The Skyloop will be open starting August 28 at 11 a.m.! After that, it will be open year-round from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
