Open-Air Concert in the Parish Garden

On August 1, The Swingin' Pops will bring the sound of the Roaring Twenties to Seelze.

The Swingin' Pops are coming to Seelze.

Swing meets pop, vintage meets modern: On Saturday, August 1, at 7:30 p.m., The Swingin’ Pops will treat the audience to an extraordinary open-air concert experience at the Open Air event in the parish garden of St. Martin’s Church. The Berlin-based band blends contemporary pop and rock songs with the unmistakable sound of the 1920s through the 1940s, promising a summer evening that is as elegant as it is rousing.

World-famous hits
“The Swingin’ Pops create something truly special: they breathe new life into world-famous hits with a completely fresh musical twist, all while exuding the charm and lightheartedness of the Golden Twenties,” says Irene Cholewinski from the Cultural Office of the City of Seelze. With creative arrangements and danceable swing, the musicians reinterpret songs by Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, AC/DC, and Elton John. The program is rounded out by original compositions and newly arranged jazz classics.
