Seelze

With a population of just over 34,000, the town of Seelze borders the state capital to the west. The Mittelland Canal winds its way through the town like a ribbon, crossing the Leine River, among other waterways. The canal offers many opportunities for commercial and recreational boating and provides the town of Seelze with its own marina. Railways also play an important role: the Seelze marshalling yard is one of the largest in all of Germany. More at www.seelze.de
