Swimming with a view of the small Deister in the family pool.

Along with Altenhagen I and Bennigsen, this is the third outdoor pool that the town of Springe was no longer willing or able to afford. Here, too, a support association has stepped in. As with other pools run by associations, this development has its advantages: The pool is maintained with a great deal of personal dedication and thus offers a particularly warm and family-like atmosphere.

Infrastructure

Water area:
Swimmers/non-swimmers: 50×16.5 meters with a stainless steel slide, 3-meter and 1-meter diving boards; wading pool, 100 square meters with a fountain and play equipment; temperature: 18–25°C, unheated

Amenities:
Restroom, shower, changing room; lawn surrounded by trees and shrubs; benches around the pool
; sun deck by the kiosk

Activities:
Beach volleyball, table tennis, playground with a sandbox, climbing frame, rocking horse, and shade sail; children’s party; night swimming

Dining:
Kiosk offering light meals and indoor and outdoor seating, sun terrace, coffee and cake in the afternoon; a barbecue area is available upon reservation

Other

No special facilities for people with disabilities, but everything is accessible;
parking lot across from the pool and additional parking available on the field
