Springe

The town of Springe, with its twelve districts, is located on the Deister. About 29,000 people live here. A popular destination is the bison enclosure. Europe’s largest mammals have found a refuge here since 1928. The rest of the Saupark, which is surrounded by a 16-kilometer-long wall, is also a wonderful place for a walk. Springe is easily accessible from Hannover by S-Bahn. More at www.springe.de
