The MoorIZ

The MoorIZ is the new focal point of the Hanover Moorland. The building in the Wedemärk village of Resse is both an environmental information center and a community center. A permanent exhibition covering 100 square meters provides information on the history of the formation, fauna and flora of the raised bogs around Resse and is a popular starting point for excursions into the bog. There is also space for events, lectures and art exhibitions.
