The MoorIZ
The MoorIZ is the new hub of the Hannoversche Moorgeest region. Located in the village of Resse in the Wedemark district, the building serves as both an environmental information center and a community center. A permanent exhibition covering 100 square meters provides information on the history, formation, and flora and fauna of the raised bogs around Resse and serves as a popular starting point for excursions into the moor. The facility offers space for community events, lectures, and art exhibitions.
