Wedemark

The municipality of Wedemark is located in the northern part of the Region Hannover. Unlike the other municipalities in the region, Wedemark was not named after a district, but after a historical and geographical landscape designation. The administrative seat is in Mellendorf. Just under 30,000 residents live here in 17 districts. The Sennheiser company is headquartered in the district of Wennebostel. Brelinger Berg, with its geological nature trail, is an interesting destination for a day trip. More at www.wedemark.de
