Water games, water worlds for young and old and a wide range of fun and games on land can be found in Mellendorf

The Wedemark Water Park is one of the most recently modernized outdoor pools in the Region Hannover. It reopened in 2001 following extensive renovations and has become very popular. In Mellendorf, you can swim in style in stainless-steel pools and enjoy the finest water features in a sophisticated setting. Aerial acrobats have their own area, and the little ones will find their water world on two different levels—making swimming here truly fun.

The large green lawn offers plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing. For a change of pace from water sports, there’s a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables, and enough room to play Frisbee or badminton. The food and beverage options—including a restaurant, beer garden, and kiosk—have something for everyone, young and old alike. Aqua fitness, aqua jogging, and swimming lessons round out the program at the water park.

Swimmers: 25×15 meters, separate diving pool with 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards; Non-swimmers: 15×15 meters with massage jets, water cannon, current channel, water mushroom, waterfall shower, and rock garden; Padding pool on two levels connected by a steel slide to the rock garden and water mushroom; Temperature: 23–26°C, solar-heated

The days of aqua fitness classes

Fridays from 9:30 to 10:05 a.m.
Fridays from 10:30 to 11:05 a.m.

Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 6:35 p.m.

Course fee: €11.00 (single session), €90.00 (10 sessions); season pass holders receive a 10% discount

Swimming lessons

Regular swimming lessons for beginners ages 5 and up. The courses last 2 weeks and consist of 10 sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. There is a maximum of 8 children per class. The cost is 100 euros, plus the Seepferdchen badge.
