You can use the various audio files (spoken information) on your own or with others to put together your own impromptu walking tour of the town. Information about the buildings and the history of Wennigsen is available at ten points of interest in Wennigsen after scanning a QR code. Using a QR code scanner, you can access the tour for free on your cell phone. At the same time, you can see all the locations on a map.
The audio guide tour along the “Green Thread” can be taken at your own pace and takes about an hour to complete. The audio files for each location are between two and four minutes long. You are free to decide how long you want to spend at each attraction and where you want your walk to end.
