The Anzeiger Hochhaus was one of the first high-rise buildings in the German Reich.

The Anzeiger high-rise. 

The high-rise was built in 1927-1928 according to designs by Fritz Höger in the brick expressionist style. It was one of the first high-rise buildings in the German Reich. The magazines Stern (1948) and Der Spiegel (1947) were founded in the building. Today it is part of the media center. Germany's highest cinema is located on the top floor.
