Lake Maschsee was created in the 1930s and has been a defining feature of Hannover’s cityscape ever since. A path about six kilometers long circles the Maschsee in Hannover. The loop is ideal for walks as well as shorter sections and offers views of the water throughout. Different sections of the shore—from open promenades to quieter, green areas—provide plenty of variety.
