The curved dome lift in the New City Hall: A unique experience with panoramic views of Hannover

Experience an unforgettable highlight in Hannover: Take the world’s only curved dome lift to the 97.73-meter-high dome of the New Town Hall and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. The curved dome lift has been running along the dome tower since 1913 and tilts 17 degrees during the one-minute ride to reach the observation deck, which is offset by eight meters. A view through the window in the cabin’s roof reveals the fascinating path of the ride, while another window in the floor becomes transparent at the push of a button, providing a special thrill.

Viewing platform with views as far as the Harz Mountains

Once you reach the top, a spectacular view of Hannover awaits you at a height of 90 meters. Enjoy the panoramic view of the state capital, Lake Maschsee, and the Eilenriede.
