Would you like to experience the many facets of Hannover from a different perspective? Discover sights and magnificent buildings such as the New Town Hall, the Old Town, Herrenhausen, Maschsee, and the Eilenriede from a double-decker bus—with the roof open when the weather is nice. Convenient: On this accessible hop-on, hop-off city tour, you can get on or off at any stop.

Particularly popular: every first and third Saturday, the 10:30 a.m. tour is accompanied by a tour guide.

Tickets are available at the Tourist Information office on Ernst-August-Platz & at the Online Shop  (no take-away guarantee/seat reservation). 

Canal for kids on the hop-on hop-off city tour

The kids have their own frequency on the city tour: on the canal there are exciting stories about the Guelphs, Max and Moritz, Leibniz and lots of interesting facts about the city's sights.

Information about the bus

  • Barrier-free with two wheelchair spaces
  • Explanations via audio guide (partly also by city guides) in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Chinese, Japanese and Low German
  • You can book the bus for your private group (> registration form). Please send inquiries by email to staedtereise@hannover-tourismus.de!
    Available upon request: Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. / Sundays through Fridays all day
