Arched elevator in the New Town Hall: a unique experience with a panoramic view over Hanover

Experience an unforgettable highlight in Hanover: Take the world’s only curved elevator to the 97.73-meter-high dome of the New City Hall and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. The curved elevator has been traveling along the dome tower since 1913 and tilts 17 degrees during the one-minute ride to reach the observation deck, which is offset by eight meters. A view through the window in the cabin’s roof reveals the fascinating path of the ride, while another window in the floor becomes transparent at the push of a button, providing a special thrill.

Once you reach the top, a spectacular view of Hanover awaits you at a height of 90 meters. Enjoy the panoramic view of the state capital, Lake Maschsee, and the Eilenriede. On clear days, you can see as far as the Deister and even the peaks of the Harz Mountains. Don’t miss out on this experience!

Ticket price:	€5.00 for adults ; €4.00 per child aged 5 to 14, schoolchildren, students, and seniors

*Last ascent at 5.30 pm. Please note that ticket sales may end earlier due to queues. **Season times may vary due to weather conditions.

Please note: From October 25 through November 1, the last ride up is at 4:30 p.m.!
