Hannover Exhibition Center: A Hub for Global Events and Innovation

For decades, the Hannover Exhibition Center has been delighting exhibitors and visitors alike with its vast area of approximately 500,000 square meters. It hosts internationally renowned events such as HANNOVER MESSE, one of the world’s leading technology trade fairs. In addition, numerous other leading trade fairs attract global participants with their uniqueness, international scope, and thematic diversity.

The variety of trade and public exhibitions highlights the venue’s appeal. Major concerts and sporting events, such as the renowned German Classics equestrian tournament, are also highlights on the calendar and attract a wide audience. Architecture and flexibility

The exhibition grounds comprise 24 halls and pavilions, which impress with their distinctive architecture and offer a total of 392,453 square meters of exhibition space. The 58,000 square meters of open space, glass-enclosed walkways, and green relaxation areas create a productive atmosphere. With dedicated infrastructure in the West, Central, and East areas, multiple events can take place simultaneously and independently of one another. This enables customized solutions for every event.

A first-class congress center

At the heart of the exhibition grounds lies the modern convention center, which boasts 35 rooms and halls covering a total area of 5,232 square meters. Flexible room configurations provide space for groups ranging from 10 to 1,300 people. The transparent foyer connects two large halls and impresses with a grand staircase, high-quality marble flooring, and 500 square meters of exhibition space. A modern commercial kitchen ensures first-class catering services for all areas. The Convention Center is not only a state-of-the-art conference venue but also a timeless location in the heart of the exhibition grounds.

Optimal accessibility

Thanks to its central location in Hanover, the exhibition grounds are exceptionally well connected. The exhibition center train station offers direct connections to both regular and special long-distance trains. A helipad enables direct flights to Hanover Airport. The two modern light rail stations connect the grounds directly to the city center. With the Klima-Ticket, trade show visitors in Hanover can ride GVH buses and trains for free. The ticket is included with the admission ticket and makes it easier to travel in an environmentally friendly way. Highway connections to the A2 and A7 in the east-west and north-south directions, as well as 39,000 parking spaces, ensure a hassle-free journey.
