Herrenhausen lights up for the 9 cities in Lower Saxony

The “die_9 Städte in Niedersachsen” city partnership is promoting itself with large-scale posters and a new cultural guide.

As a cultural beacon of Lower Saxony, the festively illuminated Herrenhausen Gardens serve as the central motif of the 9-City poster campaign.

As Lower Saxony’s cultural beacon, the festively illuminated Herrenhausen Gardens serve as the main motif of the poster campaign. Images from the other member cities complement the poster design—and encourage visitors, for example, to visit Hildesheim, which is celebrating its 1,200th anniversary in 2015 with numerous events; to take a detour to the “Autostadt” with its world-class Movimentos Festival; or to take a short trip to Goslar with its International Music Festival and International Piano Days.

New Cultural Guide

In addition, the new cultural guide “festlich! Cultural Experiences 2015” (PDF) takes readers on a cultural journey through the nine cities of Braunschweig, Celle, Göttingen, Goslar, Hameln, Hannover, Hildesheim, Lüneburg, and Wolfenbüttel, as well as the Autostadt in Wolfsburg.

It offers a cross-section of the spectrum of cultural highlights in 2015. Together with the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, the 9 cities invite visitors to Lower Saxony for top-notch cultural experiences. Behind their magnificent historic facades, the 9 cities are offering especially festive events this year.
