After the summer break, Team Pirotecnia Internacional takes the stage for “America.” Magnificent macaws have flown in from the jungles of South America and accompany guests to the Great Garden. Here, you’ll encounter dazzling butterflies and magnificent bouquets of flowers, while Klabauterjan sails through the crowd in his old shark boat. On the Children’s Lawn, the UBC Cheerleaders present a top-notch athletic and acrobatic show. And the charming young magician Momo Magic brings smiles to the audience on the Children’s Stage with comedy, juggling, and magic. Full of energy and passion, Chalance performs the best Latin, swing, and pop songs from four decades in the Garden Theater with charm, wit, and sophistication. On the rehearsal stage, the quartet Griyo mixes an imaginative cocktail of alternative Latin music with elements of pop and jazz. On the cabaret stage, the Kaosclown makes tables float, juggles on a penny-farthing, and wants to fly to the moon in a rocket—action is guaranteed!
At 10:00 p.m., the sky above the Great Garden will belong to Pirotecnia Internacional and its show “Día de Muertos.” “Every city in the world should have a place like the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen,” says artistic director Manuel Cueto, describing his thoughts when he first saw the Great Garden in Herrenhausen. “Our biggest challenge will be to introduce Hanover’s fireworks fans to one of our most important traditions, the Día de Muertos—the Day of the Dead. On this day, the dead return for one night to celebrate with us. Our show was inspired by this holiday and our tradition. We will tell a beautiful love story that will guide the audience in understanding the Day of the Dead.”
