As a city of international significance for trade fairs, Hannover looks back on a tradition spanning more than 75 years.

Today, with over 460,000 m² of indoor space and 58,000 m² of outdoor space, the world’s largest fairground is among the most modern of its kind. Thanks to highlights such as HANNOVER MESSE and AGRITECHNICA, its 26 halls and pavilions serve as a showcase for technological innovations year after year. Hannover also offers exceptional venues for congresses and conferences.

Numerous trade fairs drive the global economy forward with cutting-edge technologies and new products. HANNOVER MESSE, for example, is the most important trade fair for capital goods. Leading trade fairs such as LIGNA Hannover, EMO Hannover, and IAA Commercial Vehicles highlight international market trends. With excellent transportation links and exhibition facilities, Hannover ranks among the top trade fair cities.

The Hannover region also plays a leading role as a destination for conventions and conferences, offering first-class venues.
