Maschsee Festival: Program for July 25

3:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: HAZ Family Day with live music and award ceremonies

• 3:30–4:00 p.m.: A 30-minute exercise and dance program is offered for children, women, and the whole family. With music, simple movements, and lots of fun, the Fühl & Tanz Studio invites everyone to join in. 
• 4:00–4:30 p.m.: The top male and female rowers in the finals will be honored.
• 5:00–6:00 p.m.: Big Band Berenbostel. With its outstanding singers, the Big Band Berenbostel from the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Garbsen, conducted by Felix Maier, performs at jazz matinees, swing dance events, in small clubs, and at large city festivals.
• 6:30–7:00 p.m.: The top male and female rowers in the finals will be honored.
• 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.: Many members of the ensemble The Wildcards from Hannover have their roots in the Berenbostel Big Band. With a four-piece rhythm section, a horn section, and a singer, the band delivers pop, soul, and jazz sounds that are sure to thrill the audience. Now they’re making their debut at the Maschseefest
• 8:30–9:00 p.m.: The top male and female rowers in the finals will be honored.
• 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: DJ set featuring Larziz and Franclin. Larziz combines groovy beats with warm sounds, funky influences, and carefully selected vocals. Inspired by modern house, she creates a sound that’s energetic and driving, carrying her sets along. Franclin is a newcomer DJ from Hannover and part of the SPACE collective. She plays everything from laid-back house to driving trance—as long as it’s danceable!

9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Skipper sets the tone for the HeimW at the Maschseefest

From house to Afrohouse, from hip-hop to pop: When DJ Skipper takes the reins, there’s no way anyone at the lake will be able to keep still.

Japan Meets Maschsee – HeimW brings a taste of Tokyo to the north shore with the finest sushi artistry.

8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Loverence

As a resident DJ at the well-known Hannover venues Cumberlandsche and Vino3000, and as one of Tulum’s very first DJs, he knows exactly how to get the crowd fired up. 

2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: A variety of activities on the children's playground

• With fantastic creative activities from “Xie-Xie Leisure and Experiential Education for Children,” you can make wonderful party favors, get a temporary tattoo, and use your imagination to transform yourself into a lion, a princess, and much more with face painting.
• "Mattel" is showcasing three fantastic play stations and a photo booth to capture unforgettable moments.
• "Hannover Zoo" will be stopping by with the walking act Tatzi and will have some fun activities and little gifts in store.

Legal guardians are responsible for supervising the children. A coffee cart serves up delicious specialty coffees!

6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Kai Schwarz

Flawless mixing, top-notch track selection, creative remixes—Hamburg’s VIP DJ never misses a beat when it comes to getting his crowd moving.

Spanish Mediterranean Cuisine, Tapas & Paella

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Wunstorf Shanty Choir

Located 25 km from Hannover, this men's choir—founded in 1993—takes the audience on a maritime voyage!

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Captain Taylor

The lively entertainer from the Hamborger Veermaster sings maritime songs and evergreens.

7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Dancing by the lake

Dance your way across the dance floor to atmospheric songs and classics.

7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Odyssee – The Udo Lindenberg Tribute Band

Udo-style sound, cult hits, and true rock ’n’ roll attitude: With Udo Lindenberg’s greatest classics, Odyssee brings that unmistakable Panik-Rock vibe to the stage.

Dishes from more than 10 different countries: From the Food Highway to the Urban Garden and the Löwenbastion Show Plaza—there’s plenty to experience here! 

8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Black Rosie

Black Rosie delivers AC/DC’s power with full force—loud, direct, and rousing. The all-female tribute band brings the Australian band’s greatest rock ’n’ roll anthems to the stage.

3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Peaky Pluckers

With traditional folk songs, well-known classics, and plenty of enthusiasm, the musicians provide top-notch entertainment.

7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Paddy's Law

Paddy’s Law blends traditional Irish folk music with powerful rock elements, creating an extraordinary live experience.

The musical experience is complemented by a selection of traditional Irish specialties—from hearty Irish stew to Guinness, cider, and authentic Irish whiskey.
