Maschsee Festival: Program for July 26

4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: NP Summer Festival

As you’d expect from a summer festival by the lake, there’s one thing above all else: plenty of entertainment and music! From live bands, up-and-comers, renowned artists, DJs, and dance acts. On July 26, NP host Josina Kelz will welcome the following performers, among others, to the stage:

• Juliano Rossi. Terry Hoax singer Oliver Perau takes on the vocal role of swing singer Juliano Rossi, accompanied by jazz musician Lutz Krajenski on the keyboard.
• GOP: The variety theater presents performers from its current show, “Zweifach Magisch.”
• Hannover Dances by the Lake: Every Sunday, the NP transforms the Maschsee stage into a dance floor—this Sunday starting around 7 p.m. The dance instructors from the Bothe Dance Schools will lead the crowd in Discofox and other dances.
•  DJ Jasper will kick off the dance party by the lake at around 7:45 p.m.

4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Electric Garden Festival

The Electronic Festival kicks off on Sunday at 4 p.m. However, there’s been a change from last year: While the 2025 edition focused mainly on house music (DiscoBoys & Tom Novy), the 2026 edition will be all about techno! Headliners include Moguai, Revil O., Marc Van Linden, Electronic Moments, and more. Tickets are available online for 18 euros (VIP: 40 euros).

3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: HAZ Wine Tasting

With a spectacular view of the Maschsee and a small selection of delicious wines to accompany the tasting, experienced experts from the wine bar across the street will present five exquisite wines. Tickets/registration at: eventim.de

2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: A variety of activities on the children's playground

• With fantastic creative activities from “Xie-Xie Leisure and Experiential Education for Children,” you can make wonderful party favors, get a temporary tattoo, and use your imagination to transform yourself into a lion, a princess, and much more with face painting.
• "Mattel" is showcasing three fantastic play stations and a photo booth to capture unforgettable moments.
• "Hannover Zoo" will be stopping by with the walking act Tatzi and will have some fun activities and little gifts in store.

Legal guardians are responsible for supervising the children. A coffee cart serves up delicious specialty coffees!

6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.: DJ Kai Schwarz

Flawless mixing, top-notch track selection, creative remixes—Hamburg’s VIP DJ never misses a beat when it comes to getting his crowd moving.

Spanish Mediterranean Cuisine, Tapas & Paella

2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Just for Fun – the Women's Shanty Choir

Originally, Just for Fun was intended to serve as a preliminary choir for the main choir of the Shanty-Chor-Lohnde von 1989 e.V., but things turned out differently. Instead of finding “new blood” for the shanty choir, this choir group completely took on a life of its own, and the women, who loved to sing, developed a momentum that could no longer be stopped. The ladies sang purely for the joy of it, and that’s exactly what they call themselves: “Just for Fun.” This year, the women celebrated their 15th anniversary, and it’s impossible to imagine the Seelze music scene without them.

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Lohnde Shanty Choir

The Shantyhor Lohnde can look back on more than 35 years of musical seafaring. Performances throughout northern Germany, on radio and television—including ZDF and RTL—alongside renowned artists, as well as on international stages, have made the crew popular and well-known far beyond the borders of their hometown. Whether at the Harbor Birthday celebrations in Bristol, the Steuben Parade in New York, or on cruise ships from Nice all the way to St. Petersburg.

6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Dancing by the lake

Dance your way across the dance floor to atmospheric songs and classics.

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.: Daydrinking with DJ Michi Gürth

No more nights that don't end until 4 a.m. Day drinking in San Francisco, California, starts early; the crowd enjoys cool drinks, great beats, and celebrates life while the sun is still out.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: No Decision

No Decision brings fresh indie pop from the Hannover area to the Maschsee. The band combines catchy songs with youthful energy and a sound that instantly sticks with you.

Grilled, vegan, and vegetarian dishes from VEGGIEBABO

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Peaky Pluckers

With traditional folk songs, well-known classics, and plenty of enthusiasm, the musicians provide top-notch entertainment.

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Clover Folk Band

The Clover Folk Band delights audiences with authentic Irish folk music and brings the sounds of the Emerald Isle right to the Maschsee. With traditional melodies, well-known pub songs, and soulful ballads, the musicians create a unique atmosphere that invites everyone to sing along, clap along, and enjoy the music.

The musical experience is complemented by a selection of traditional Irish specialties—from hearty Irish stew to Guinness, cider, and authentic Irish whiskey.
