Maschsee Festival: Schedule for August 7

7:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Munique

Muniques’ trademark lies in their ability to break down, dissolve, and ultimately reassemble genre boundaries. From Afro to house, from ’90s to hip-hop, from R&B to pop, they manage to make every style their own. At the heart of their creative output is the desire to take the audience on an audiophile journey and, together with them, create a momentum that lingers in their hearts and minds long after the last note has faded.

9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Franky

DJ Franky (still known to many as DJ Babyface)! He’s been living and breathing DJing since 1988 and has left his mark on the dance floors of the region’s most renowned clubs over the past few decades—from legendary nights at Palo Palo, Acanto, and Groove Garden to Check In (at the GOP) and Orly.

Japan Meets Maschsee – HeimW brings a taste of Tokyo to the north shore with the finest sushi artistry.

7:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Nax

With Afro House, Afrobeat, Latin sounds, hip-hop, and the biggest hits of the 2000s, DJ Nax creates the perfect soundtrack for long summer evenings right by the water.

We promise a booth that will transport you straight to the heart of Greece with its aesthetic beauty and enticing scents. 

8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.: DJ Tommy

DJ Tommy, a resident star at Hanover’s iconic EVE Klub, provides the perfect beats at Maschsee. With his keen sense of the crowd, he delivers an explosive mix of Latin American rhythms, house music, and summery club hits.

2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: A variety of activities on the children's playground

• With fantastic creative activities from “Xie-Xie Leisure and Experiential Education for Children,” you can make wonderful party favors, get a temporary tattoo, and use your imagination to transform yourself into a lion, a princess, and much more with face painting.
• Things get pretty wild during the hobby horsing event with the “Turn-Klubb Hannover.” Plus, the young athletes can do gymnastics, run around, throw, and jump in true Olympic style at five different stations of the TKH Kids’ Olympics.
• The “next talents” are setting up various basketball stations that are sure to provide plenty of action and fun.
• The “Hannover Upcycling Exchange” presents fun games about waste prevention and offers a playful introduction to the carpenter’s trade.
• "Hannover Zoo" will be stopping by with the walking act Tatzi and will have some fun activities and little gifts in store.
• And “enercity AG” is providing a giant bouncy castle for the kids to let off some steam!

Legal guardians are responsible for supervising the children. A coffee cart serves up delicious specialty coffees!

6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.: DJ Kai Schwarz

Hamburg's VIP DJ never misses a chance to get his crowd sweating.

Spanish Mediterranean Cuisine, Tapas & Paella

6:30–8:30 p.m.: Country Night with The Wolf

Anthony Miller & The French Press: Anthony Miller blends warm alternative folk with pop/rock and country elements and a sense of wistful expansiveness. With his authentic voice and road-trip romance, he creates songs that go straight to the heart—somewhere between radio pop, campfires, and wanderlust.

9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Country Night with The Wolf

Lucy & HangOver are known for their modern country music, international live performance experience, and high energy. The band from the Czech Republic combines a pop-country sound with catchy songs and a strong stage presence. With their international appeal and performances at events like the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards, Lucy & HangOver bring a fresh country sound to the stage.

Enjoy first-class drinks while taking in the view of Lake Maschsee, accompanied by relaxing lounge music and delicious snacks and meals from Rodizio Baumhaus.

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Hallerschipper Shanty Choir

The Hallerschipper describe themselves as “the slightly different shanty choir.” Traditional sea shanties by Freddy and Hans Albers are, of course, part of their repertoire, but Captain Michael Vieth has also developed his own style of performing these classics. The choir adds a special touch with maritime pop hits.

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Lui & Fiete

Lui, accompanied by Fiete Petersen on the piano—that's some real coastal fun from the Waterkant!

7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Dancing by the lake

Dance your way across the dance floor to atmospheric songs and classics.

• 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. NDR 1 Lower Saxony Afternoon: Live radio with Sören Oelrichs from the Glass Studio Tent.
• 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Live on stage with TV news from NDR Info, hosted by Susanne Stichler. Plus fact-checking with André Schünke. A look behind the scenes: How are news stories produced at *Taggeschau*, NDR Info, and on the radio? Profile: NDR regional reporter Wolfgang Kurtz (NDR Hameln).

7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: The High 5s

Musical diversity meets genuine enthusiasm: The High Fives bring well-known favorites, timeless classics, and modern hits to the stage with their very own style. Sometimes groovy, sometimes rock-inspired, always rousing—a live show that’s perfect for dancing, singing along, and enjoying.

Dishes from more than 10 different countries: From the Food Highway to the Urban Garden and the Löwenbastion Show Plaza—there’s plenty to experience here! 

8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Motörblast!

Motörblast bring Motörhead’s uncompromising sound to the stage—loud, raw, and full of rock ’n’ roll. With driving riffs, powerful bass, and the true spirit of Lemmy, the band pays tribute to the legend of heavy rock. A must-see for anyone who likes things a little heavier at Maschsee.

7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Clonmac Noise

Clonmac Noise is known for traditional Irish folk music full of passion and joy. With well-known pub songs, soulful ballads, and rousing folk classics, the band takes its audience on a musical journey through Ireland.

The musical experience is complemented by a selection of traditional Irish specialties—from hearty Irish stew to Guinness, cider, and authentic Irish whiskey.
