Business and science, conferences and culture, events and innovation—since its founding in 2001, Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) has been showcasing the best of Hannover. HMTG, the central service provider for regional and city marketing as well as tourism promotion, is a public-private partnership.
About two dozen well-known companies from the Hannover region hold 50 percent of the company’s shares. The economic development agencyhannoverimpuls GmbH holds 25 percent of the shares on behalf of the state capital and the Region Hannover. With the new HMTG initiative “Hannover Partner,” the shareholders are pursuing a single goal: to improve the image of Hannover as a business and living environment, foster a sense of identity with the city, and support its marketing beyond the region.

A commitment to the region in good company—that’s why today’s “Hannover Partners” form a close-knit, but by no means exclusive, circle. HMTG is open to additional partners. Sponsors are also welcome.
