The dates in 2026

The International Fireworks Competition will mark its 34th edition in 2026. Once again this year, the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen in Hannover will be transformed into a spectacular stage for international pyrotechnics teams over the course of five evenings.

May 16, 2026 - Team Denmark

May 30, 2026 - Team Norway

August 15, 2026 - Team Finland

September 05, 2026 - Team Scotland

September 19, 2026 - Team Sweden

Each date stands for its own country, its own choreography and a unique staging of light, music and fireworks.

The competition is one of the most traditional fireworks events in Europe. Visitors can enjoy not only spectacular fireworks but also the unique atmosphere of the Baroque Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen.
